Description
Gilbert the Guinea Pig was destroyed. His girlfriend had dumped him, just like a frigging bird dumped its poop from a tree. And if that wasn't enough, he had seen her making out with his best friend Andrew.Ex-best friend, of course. Oh that traitor! He would never forgive Andrew for that, that stupid little birdhumper. It was too much for poor Gilbert. He had decided to put an end to it, and what was more suited for this than the Imperial Tower of Guinea Town?
Just when he was ready for the experience of his little guinea pig body being smashed to thousand pieces on the Main Street two hundred metres below him, he heard a voice from behind.
"Don't jump", Andrew screamed. "Gilbert, please - Don't! Ain't I your best friend? We all need you!"

As mentioned, I think the color scheme is great--unexpected but definitely pleasing. The brightness of the setting sun does a good job of drawing our attention to the guinea pigs, especially the place between their faces and the tension of their interaction.
Now, while I know the perspective is intentionally distorted, it seems almost too casual to me. I just keep wanting to push that upper corner of the balcony down (down, boy, down!).

i like the soft colors
only detail seems weird thought
the different lighting you have applied on the fur of the right character (where the light is the more intense) looks a bit overdone and weird

My investigation centers mainly on this cctv still you have uploaded for us. I have found significant evidence that Gilbert owed thousands of pounds in cocaine money to Andrew and Andrews crew (the cage free thugs).
why could Gilbert not afford to pay you might ask? Gilbert has chewed it up and made a bed out of it with every pay check.
Beautiful painting, really love the soft use of color and rim highlights.
Look forward to seeing more
