It was long before the ancient times.
A town, as grand as the old poets said,
Marble bridges were built, mosaics were laid;
and the warm winters brought shining rimes.
Humans we were, favoured by the gods
Possessing all knowledge one can think of.
But when we finally approached the moon
We found the truth; and the gods we forsook
Which enraged our creators and they spoke:
We will destroy your Atlantis soon.
Haughtiness and vanity - it's all transistory
As well as their human's peace and glory
